Jesús López Fidalgo, Director of DATAI.

Mathematician-Statistician from the University of Salamanca, his professional trajectory highlights his role as director of the School of Industrial Engineering in Castilla-La Mancha, manager of the National Mathematics Plan, president of the Spanish Society of Statistics and IO, and co-founder and coordinator of a node of the National Biostatistics Network. He has conducted extended research stays at the universities of Manchester, Glasgow, UCLA, and Alberta, and taught classes at the University of California, Riverside. He is the co-author of five books, one of them being a popular science book: "Chance Does Not Exist".

Iván Cordón Medrano, Director of Innovation at DATAI

Computer Engineer from the Jaume I University of Castellón, Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Navarra, and Executive MBA from IE Business School, for over fifteen years he has been leading Artificial Intelligence projects in academic and business settings across four continents. Previously, he worked at Grupo Telepizza, where he directed the Data strategy and implementation of AI for the group. An innovator, he considers technology as a fundamental tool for human development.

Rubén Armañanzas Arnedillo Principal Researcher at the Digital Medicine Laboratory at DATAI.

Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, he is a data scientist with over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, bio and neuro-informatics, and biomedical applications. He has worked at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, George Mason University in the United States, and in private industry, where he led teams developing AI algorithms and coordinated clinical trials of medical devices.

Ignacio Ferrero Muñoz, Professor of Business Ethics and Leadership at UNAV's Faculty of Economics and Business.

Graduate in Philosophy and Economics and Ph.D. in Economics, he served as dean for 9 years at the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNAV, where he currently conducts research on virtue ethics and AI, and on motivations and purpose in the workplace. He is a co-founder of the Research Group on Virtue Ethics in Business and Management. He has been a visiting scholar at prestigious universities such as Bentley Harvard and has published several books on business ethics and articles in academic journals such as Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, and Business Ethics: A European Review.

Alberto García Galindo, PhD fellow in Machine Learning for Digital Medicine at DATAI.

Master's in Data Science from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Bachelor's in Statistics from the University of Salamanca, with an Extraordinary Degree Award, he is currently working on his doctoral thesis on Machine Learning and the development of new reliable machine learning methods, focusing on quantifying uncertainty and algorithm fairness. A Data Science enthusiast, he has been involved in organizing various communities and events, such as PyData Salamanca and TabularConf.

Alejo José G. Sison, Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Navarra.

A Philosophy professor, he is an ordinary professor at the Busch School of Business at the Catholic University of America and an associate professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. Currently, his research focuses on virtue ethics and artificial intelligence. A former president of the European Network of Business Ethics and the Society for Business Ethics, his project "Guidelines for the fair and responsible use of large language models (LLM) among college undergraduates" was awarded by the Rome Call for AI Ethics/Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab.

Juan Carlos Hernández, Member of the Advisory Board of DATAI.

Professor of Administrative Law and Digital Law, member of the Ethics Committee, and co-director of the Master's in Digital Law at the University of Navarra. Previously, he was a member of the Cybersecurity and Data Protection Committees and Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of UNE-Spanish Association for Standardization, as well as a non-governmental advisor to the National Commission for Markets and Competition. He co-directed the Treaty of Digital Law (La Ley) y ha publicado, entre otros, la monografía "The Legal Framework of Artificial Intelligence: Principles, Procedures, and Governance Structures" (Aranzadi).

Elena Martín de Diego, PhD candidate in Trustworthy Machine Learning at DATAI.

Graduate in Mathematics from the University of Valladolid and Master in Big Data Science from the University of Navarra, she is pursuing her doctorate at DATAI on machine learning and works on equity and explainability methods and their application in business and medical frameworks. Additionally, she is conducting a research stay at the University of Bologna.
